On the second try, the ICARUS (International Cooperation for Animal Research Using Space) put into nominal operation on March 10, 2020 aboard the ISS. The first try in July 2019 was unsuccessful caused by a technical defect.

Congratulations from vH&S to the DLR and the ISS Crew! We wish all best for the upcoming testing phase, and further promising scientific measurement data.
